I have built two of these on different properties. This one, we moved with us to our current home- hopefully the last time! I found the plans in "Crockett's Victory Garden" by James underwood Crockett.
It works better than anything I've ever tried. It is constructed from pressure treated lumber and 1/2 inch hardware cloth. As you can see the front panels are individual boards that are removable for easy access. What you can't see are the tiny nails in the top of each one of these boards that create a space between each board for better air circulation. The whole thing is 9 feet long and 3 feet wide, 32 inches deep. As one bin fills up, I move the compost to the next bin which also turns the compost. By the time it reaches the third bin it is ready for the garden!
