Growing Hosta for Their Blooms

We all know how beautiful Hosta leaves are and how many wonderful variations of these shade lovers come in. I grow and sell over 15 varieties at Mimi's Greenhouse. Some of my favorites I grow for their beautiful and fragrant flowers. It is the end of July here in the mid-south and I have had Hosta blooming somewhere in my garden since May. Below are a few of my favorite blooms.

Choo Choo Train

Sum and Substance

Blue Mouse Ears

One Man's Treasure

Hosta blooms make good additions to cut flower bouquets too. Maybe you can find a spot in your gardenfor this versatile plant and look for ones with pretty flowers too.
